2022 was a year of complexity and variability, with the outbreak of the Russo-Ukrainian War at the beginning of the year, a surge in commodity prices, lockdowns in Changchun in March, and a complete lockdown in Shanghai in April, which brought the production and transportation of automotive parts in the Yangtze River Delta region to a standstill.
In May, the central government introduced a policy to halve the purchase tax, automotive demand saw some release in the third quarter.In October, lockdown measures for the epidemic intensified in
various regions.In December, epidemic prevention policy make a sharp turn and 10 new regulations announced, almost everyone tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.We have faced a year full of ups and downs.

In 2022, we have complished 9 new product announcements, 7 safety announcements, 7 environmental protext announcements, 8 3C announcement, 1 Beijing environmental protection certification, 1 exemption declaration, 15 product expansion projects, 6 invention patents, and 2 utility model patents, and we optimize the the weight reduction plan for mid-engine sedan transporters and the structure of hydraulic flatbed trucks by developing 8 new types of products and 2 upgraded and optimized products.

On the background of the national ‘dual carbon’ targets, the development direction for future product innovation and upgrading of the company lies in electric, intelligent, modular, and environmentally friendly new energy special vehicles.
In 2023, our company will increase the R&D funding investment for the development of products such as mid-engine electric vehicle transporters and electric self-propelled chassis for intra-factory transportation, as well as research into intelligent unmanned driving technology. We also established technology R&D center, build a high-pressure static hydraulic drive and control engineering technology research center platform, and improve structural simulation analysis, electro-hydraulic system and its components testing and inspection, and research on the 'three electric' systems technology, etc., to enhance R&D innovation capabilities, continuously strengthen the core competitiveness of the products, and ensure the high-quality sustainable development of the company.
In the future, Hai Peng Special Vehicle Company will expand business externally to improve effciency and reduce cost to internally to enhance productivity. In December 2022, Hai Peng Special Vehicle Company launched the second phase of its lean management project which improving the quality of enterprise management, and the mindset of all employees has undergone a significant transformation, the on-site conditions have been greatly improved, work efficiency has been effectively enhanced, and costs have been effecitvely controlled.
